Runamokka is a new luxurious cafe and soft-play in the town centre of Whitley Bay. Runamokka’s up market décor is designed to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere, whilst our luxurious seating includes soft leather sofas and armchairs with coffee tables, to a selection of more traditional but comfortable tables and chairs (all with adequate space for a high chair). Upstairs at Runamokka further seating is available, also tastefully decorated with comfortable seating overlooking Whitley Road, so sit and relax where it is a little quieter and watch the world go by.*
Toilets with baby changing facilities are provided on the ground floor (including disability access) allowing everyone to deal with nappies and toilet visits.
*Parents/carers must remain on the ground floor whilst their children are playing in the softplay
We offer a range of hot and cold drinks, high quality, tasty freshly produced hot and cold snacks, hand made cakes, an assortment of cookies and biscuits, and also chocolate goods, we also provide a take away service. All of our staff are highly trained and experienced and in many cases exceed legal requirements set out in order to provide a very high levels of service to our customers.

The goal is to provide 'the place to be' for families from the local community and surrounding areas. This will be achieved by continually keeping all equipment up to date and in tip top condition whilst providing high quality drinks and snacks and fantastic children's parties to the residents of the Whitley Bay area in a safe, relaxed and fun atmosphere.
